A Question About Salaries

Radio Free Harvard Cubao tries to answer a question about salaries in the Philippines. In Ancient Rome, Soldiers were paid in salt, it was at that time a very expensive substance and mining salt was a hazardous task left to slaves or prisoners. Salt on the table was a sign that one was well off. If one were to sit near the host were described as above the salt and those further or less favored were below the salt. The word itself salary comes from the word Salarium. So here is an attempt to answer a question about salaries.

Sasagutin ng Radio Free Harvard Cubao ang tanong ukol sa suweldo.
